Principal's Welcome 2024

St Brendan’s Catholic Primary School aims to support the intellectual, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual development of each child, so that they can achieve their unique God-given potential. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment that will allow all children not only to learn, but to flourish. Our Catholic school culture, beliefs and values ensure that our school is a place where children feel valued and heard and are inspired to become the best version of themselves that they can be.

As one of Mackay’s newest schools, opened in 2015, St Brendan’s offers state of the art facilities which have been purposefully planned to promote learning and to embrace the beauty of our local environment. Our learning spaces have been designed to ensure that students and teachers have the resources and spaces they require to meet the demands of a contemporary classroom.

At St Brendan’s, we highly value and encourage parent involvement in every aspect of their child’s education, as well as active participation in community events and the spiritual life of our school. This parental commitment will support and assist your child’s learning and will also strengthen the relationships between you and your child, teachers, and other families. When schools and parents work together, and communicate openly with one another, student learning and life outcomes improve.

If you have any questions about St Brendan’s Catholic Primary School, please feel free to contact our school office.
